Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using any part of the Remotify platform at remotify.in ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. Description of service

Remotify is an offshore talent marketplace that connects job seekers ("Candidates") based in India with employers ("Employers") seeking remote or hybrid talent. We facilitate profile creation, job applications, and employer introductions. We are not a party to any employment contract between Candidates and Employers.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Remotify. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate, current, and complete.

4. Candidate accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You must not create multiple accounts or impersonate another person.
• Your CV and profile information must be truthful and not misleading.
• By uploading a CV or submitting an application, you authorise Remotify to share your profile with the relevant employer for that role.

5. Employer use

Employers accessing candidate profiles through Remotify agree to use that data solely for legitimate hiring purposes and in compliance with applicable data protection laws. Employer onboarding is governed by a separate agreement.

6. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
• Harvest or scrape data from the Platform.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts or backend systems.
• Use the Platform to spam, harass, or harm other users.
• Reverse-engineer or decompile any part of the Platform.
• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose.

7. Intellectual property

All content, design, and code on Remotify is owned by or licensed to us. You retain ownership of content you upload (e.g. your CV), but grant Remotify a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store and share it as described in these Terms.

8. No employment guarantee

Remotify does not guarantee job placement, interviews, or employment. We facilitate connections — final hiring decisions rest entirely with employers.

9. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. Job listings are provided by third parties and we do not verify their accuracy.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Remotify shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including loss of earnings or missed employment opportunities.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@remotify.in.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms periodically. We will notify registered users of material changes by email. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
